Botox facts

These are the actual facts about Botox, which has been in use since 2002 as a cosmetic treatment and was injected 7.4 million times in 2018 alone.

Your Botox treatment

Dr. Bush consults with you about your facial lines and wrinkles, your skincare routine, and your hopes and desires. He can target the appropriate areas by asking you to make different facial expressions. Once areas that can benefit from Botox are identified, your injections can begin. Each set of injections takes about 10 minutes.

Crow’s feet usually get three injections at the outside corner of each eye. Forehead lines get five injections across the forehead crease. You should only experience the mildest discomfort, if any, and can go back to your normal routine immediately. It can take 7-14 days for full results to appear, and they’ll last approximately four months.
